Lupe Fiasco at Tripod last night.
Great gig, and I’m really happy with the shots.
He has a great stage presence and did not stop moving around, which is both a blessing and a curse for photographers.
A lot of the time, I’d only just get a chance to focus on him before he started jumping around again, and plenty of my shots were blurred by him moving, but I would have had a much harder time getting a good few different angles in the allowed three songs, if he had stayed in the one spot the whole time.
They turned out well anyway, though I’m still kind of shocked I managed to take 360 shots in three songs.

Delorentos at the Student Bar in UCD on Thursday.
Was at the Sunday Roast in Thomas Reads on Dame St on Sunday night (Gran Casino were performing). Never heard of it before but it’s brilliant:- free music, board games (was Connect 4 this week) AND roast potatoes. Would go more often if it wasn’t so fucking hard to get home to Greystones on a Sunday night. Photos coming soon.
