Yes, I know I’ve neglected the blogging. Sorry about that.

Went to the opening of the new skate park in Greystones, which Wicklow County Council’s blog (yep, they have a blog) [UPDATE: on further investigation, the blog appears to be a commercial thing] likes to boast is the biggest in the country. It involved lots of skating, BMXes and rollerblading, aswell as some live music. Took plenty of photos.

First attempt at Bhalash’s Bleach Bypass technique.

18-55mm lens at the wide end.

Shot not quite from the hip (more like the chest), but without looking through the viewfinder. I think my aim is improving.

Absolutely no post-processing done on this.

Walking home from the post office from collecting my new 50mm f/1.8 lens, I took this through the holes in a bin (hence the framing).

Kinda reminds me of an old-fashioned postcard.
