That's why I was so shocked to see such great quality in these shots! Had a hard time deciding which lens I'd use (3 songs, so little chance to swap) but he was moving around the stage so much I wanted a zoom rather than a prime so i could follow him without moving around too much. There was a slight incident involving Fight Like Apes in UCD that resulted in possible breaking of the lens, but I'm not sure. As far as I can tell, it's just manual focusing is broken and auto is OK, so I think I can get away with using it for another while. Yeah it’s the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8, think the nice bright lighting of a big venue helps.
